S says I need a job so she can go to aftercare every day when school starts again. Sometimes I wonder if I should be upset or worried that she doesn't want to spend time with me, or relax and just be glad she's so independent.
Or maybe in her own little way she's recognized that time apart does good and makes time together more special. Or maybe they give her sugary snacks.
